for Poetry Throwback Thursday!
I published this poem in A Sharp Piece of Awesome, in Taft College’s literary magazine way back in 2014. This is another peice I really enjoyed writing during my snarky phase. I don’t think my writing is nearly as snarky now, which might be maturity, or it might be too bad because I still really like the poems from my pre-mothering years.
All I can say is, it’s just a good thing my husband loves me, or I would be forced to resort to some pretty extreme behavior.
So fun! I hope your husband can laugh (in a nice way) at this part of you. It’s delightful.
